if anything maybe a little too big? or maybe a touch more jam / icing is needed to take the edge off the shortbread. absolutely delicious though, was going to share but ended up eating it all myself.

Damned delicious, just like my Nana used to make – soft biscuit texture to die for, not the crispy mass produced ones from supermarkets….and I discovered they freeze well and still as tasty. Wouldn’t have any other empire biscuit now!😋
